A few things to know before you order
DTF is one of our most flexible and forgiving methods, but a couple of characteristics are worth knowing so you get exactly the finish you're picturing. You'll always see a proof before anything is produced.
It has a slight surface feel.
Because your design is transferred onto the fabric rather than absorbed into it, DTF prints sit lightly on the surface and have a subtle, smooth hand. If you're after the softest possible "part-of-the-shirt" feel, our digital (DTG) printing absorbs into the garment instead — though DTF gives you more vibrancy and works on far more fabric types.

Very large designs may carry a small surcharge.
There's no limit on color or detail, but unusually large prints use more material to produce, so a small surcharge may apply to oversized designs. Most standard prints won't be affected — and if yours would be, we'll let you know before anything is produced.

Choosing between DTF and digital (DTG)?
Both offer unlimited color and no minimums. The simple rule of thumb: DTF transfers your design onto the fabric for extra vibrancy and works across a wide range of fabric types and garment colors, while digital (DTG) prints directly into the garment for the softest feel and looks best on cotton.
